Non-Finite Verbs
A non-finite verb is a verb form that does not show tense or have a subject. Therefore, a non-finite verb is never the main verb in a sentence. Non-finite verbs can function as nouns, adjectives, and adverbs or combine with a finite verb for verb tense.
