Xbox Game Pass Will Not Include Activision Games Like Call of Duty

Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and other Activision Blizzard games won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass until 2024. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer attributes the lengthy regulatory issues the company faced in its acquisition as the reason for not including Activision Blizzard titles immediately. There was a lot of uncertainty about the British CMA approving the acquisition, which led to Xbox being unable to do the groundwork for bringing older games to the subscription service.
